Wenli began her career in 2011 with JPWALL as an analyst.
Throughout her years at JPWALL, she has participated in and led various assignments for direct companies, reinsurers, as well as Takaful operators across ASEAN. On Reserving and RBC, she has worked closely with various clients on the valuation of insurance liabilities and capital modelling, building stress testing models and developing internal actuarial capabilities in insurance companies. She has also delivered industry wide trainings across the region on various actuarial related topics.
On Risk Management, Wenli is very experienced in reinsurance optimization to enable clients to optimize their risk and returns. She has also led many solvency and capital related projects such as ICAAP and ORSA. Her pricing experience ranges from pricing Medical and Credit products, to GLM for Motor, and building pricing tools for insurers and credit corporations.
She has also been involved with merger and acquisition assignments - determining appraisal values and identifying targets for buyers.
Wenli has a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, US. She is currently pursuing her Fellowship from the Casualty Actuarial Society (US).
